A list of ideas would include: glass jars, wrapping paper, ribbons and bows, tape, contact, nuts and bolts, wooden pegs, wood off cuts, cotton balls/buds. Thanks for supporting our school in buying some beautiful mothers day gifts for all those special mums in our lives. Over $2000 profit! Sold approx 1500 items, ran out and had to buy more over night. FUNDRAISING MOTHERS DAY STALL The Mothers Day Stall was a huge success and raised the most we have at a stall yet. But don’t despair, another one is planned for the end of the year- “Trivia Notte”- an Italian themed night of games, spaghetti, breads and wine. The Trivia night was the talk of school Monday morning, and those that hadn’t attended regretted not going. Three thousand dollars was raised which will go towards purchasing fans for the Hall. At the end of the night there had to be a winning table, which went to “Barb and her Boys”- Mrs Baker and her partner, Ray Lawrence and Charles Morley. There were raffles, a cent auction, Lucky Door Prizes, (wrapped by Alissa Ruhle and Carly Palmer), games, fifty platters of food, (thanks to Michelle Samson, and Jill and Maggie Phillips) a licensed bar (serviced by Mandy Lawrence and Jennine Thomas), and laughs to be had. Frau Vlaiser was the Trivia Master, assisted by Mr Moynihan, Krista Scott Smith, and our Lisa Bertling. ![]() Nurses, couriers, accountants, hairdressers, business men, stay at home Mums and more all there to outplay each other. There were teachers, parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, neighbours, our Principal and his Deputies. ![]() Players came from Camp Hill, Morayfield, Ferny Hills, Aspley, Boondall and Deagon as word had spread, a fun filled night would be had.
